Chino Airshow 2014
It’s been about 5 years since I went to the Chino Airshow. Since I got a new DSLR camera I went the the airshow last Sunday May 4th with my dad and our old flying buddy Ethan. I got some good pictures and a few great ones. I took over 3000 pictures that day, I whittled it down to about 550 that were focused and reasonably centered and well-lit. The lighting was bad because you stand north of the runway and shoot the planes as they fly to your south. Since we’re in the Northern Hemisphere the sun is always slightly behind the airplanes at almost every angle they come by. I had to lighten a few pictures of the darker Navy aircraft.
550 pictures was still way too much so I went through all those and picked about the 100 best. I then went through those and chose between similar shots of the same aircraft to get it down to the sixty 65 pictures in the gallery below.
